The KOKADI Story - how it all began.
KOKADI - A star conquers the firmament!
KOKADI said the then 17-month-old daughter all day long. From morning to evening. During this time, Ceyda Temur, herself an enthusiastic “wearing mom” and founder of KOKADI came up with the idea of launching our own brand on the babywearing market.
Yours Baby Carrier It should definitely be organic, because a little baby likes to suck on it. And it should also fit the current zeitgeist: young, flexible, trendy.
She created different designs, played with the colors - and in July 2010 we had our first one Baby Wrap born: The stars. The “Melody” model followed immediately afterwards.
We have now released over 600 designs and inspire mothers from over 50 countries every week with a new limited edition! "Now we finally know what my daughter wanted to tell us back then. She supported us in our belief that we could fulfill our dream and also gave us the company name." KOKADI.

All products and designs are designed with love in our head office near Munich and hand-sewn in Europe. In the manufacture and production of materials and products KOKADI special emphasis is placed on organic farming with sustainable production, environmental awareness and careful use of resources. We also demonstrate responsibility towards our employees. There are various models to choose from to combine family and work. It is not for nothing that we have been certified as a family-friendly employer by the Bertelsmann Foundation since 2015 when it comes to babywearing.
Social responsibility
Comprehensive quality control also includes the careful selection of suppliers. This ensures that fair working conditions in accordance with European standards apply to the employees on site. At the same time, we also volunteer in various areas in order to get involved quickly and unbureaucratically where help is needed.
