The days are getting shorter. The leaves turn golden, fall quietly to the ground and in the morning the first frost glitters on the grass. You find yourself wondering whether it might be time to turn on the heating - if it isn't already running.

And yet: You don't want to miss out on walks, errands or little everyday adventures. Because autumn and winter in particular are full of magic. Craft afternoons, lantern runs in the warm, collecting chestnuts, building the first snowman - while the fluffy hat sometimes hides half of the world from the baby.

How do I dress my baby in the Baby Carrier or in Baby Wrap right?

First, the good news: You can continue to dress the same as before. The only tip – avoid wearing thick scarves directly on your neck. They can be annoying and, in the worst case scenario, affect your baby's air supply. A cozy turtleneck sweater is the better choice here.

Your baby should wear clothes that... breathable and temperature balancing is. The ideal ones are:

• Softshell overalls
• Fleece overalls
• Wool or wool-silk overalls

It is important that your baby is kept warm but still has enough freedom of movement.

Anything outside of the Baby Carrier lies, needs additional protection. The following are particularly suitable for this:

• Wear boots or thick socks
• Carrying cuffs for the legs
• Hat or scarf hat for head and ears

Thinner, breathable layers are more comfortable than a single thick suit. They ensure better weight distribution and an optimal fit in the Baby Carrier or in Baby Wrap. That's why we advise against classic snow or ski suits.

Reminder: Make sure you have enough air supply at all times. Especially in winter, it can quickly happen that the baby “disappears under the jacket”. In addition, the little ones' skin is particularly delicate - so please don't forget to moisturize it well before it dries out.

Carrying jacket or carrying cover?

With a babywearing jacket or one of our teddy-soft babywearing covers, you can give your baby additional warmth - without wrapping them up too tightly.

The carrying jacket is worn like a normal winter jacket and has a removable insert that is easily closed with a zipper. Practical, uncomplicated and perfect for everyday life.
